 André-Ernest-Modeste Grétry: Andromaque
 Tragédie lyrique in 3 Akten

For the first time since 1781 is "Andromaque", the lyrical tragedy of Belgian composer André-Ernest-Modeste Grétry to experience again on the stage.
Grétry, rather known for his light and funny operas, composed to Racines presentation an absorbing funereal play around four times unfulfilled, unhappy love in whose center Andromache stands, the widow of the Trojan Hektor.
Has tracked down this wrongfully forgotten work Hervé Niquet, and under his management the tragedy is also performed in Montpellier.
